• Chairman and Managing Director of Bahrain National Gas Company, a major shareholding government controlled company.
  At the same time held the position of Executive Director of Bahrain Telecommunications Co. (Batelco).
• Prior to this held the position of Director of Planning in the Ministry of Finance, Bahrain.
• Worked with the World Bank in Washington representing the Government of Bahrain.

• Bachelors degree in Economics.
• National Management course from the International Monetary Fund.
